The Flavors of the Amalfi Coast

The cuisine of the Amalfi Coast is a conversation between terraces and the sea: lemons, anchovies, olive oil, pastry and a handful of first courses that appear on almost every menu.

Lemons, really

The sfusato amalfitano is larger and sweeter than many supermarket lemons. It flavours pastry, salad, liqueur and fish. A serious visit includes at least one pastry shop in Minori and a jar of colatura from Cetara.

Eat what the harbour and the terraces can actually give you that day.
